Team Bio

Drama formally Excessive Force was formed early in 2005 under the name Excessive Force. The team was originally made up of mostly players from local Division 3 teams (Skurge, Bring It On, Cruel Intentions, & LongShots) with the goal of playing the full series of Division 2 XPSL. As a first year team playing Division 2 our goal at the start of the season was to finish in the top 5 overall in Division 2 of XPSL for the 2005 season. We surpassed our goals by playing consistent all year and ending up with a 2nd place overall trophy for the XPSL 2005 season. In 2006 we changed the team name to Drama and added a lot of young talent from a couple of local teams (Frenetik, Smash) to make the move to play on the national level in 2006. In 2006 the team won a NPPL event (D3 San Diego) , won a XPSL event ( D2 XPSL Bakersfield), and had a 2nd place in PSP (D3 PSP San Bernardino). we also had two 2nd place and a 3rd place in XPSL in 2006 and finished 2nd place overall for the season in XPSL. In 2007 with a younger talent base and players fitting our playing style we plan on building a franchise team that will be together for years to come
